Join Us and Get Involved:

Our Giving Tree –September and October donations will benefit Hosanna Industries, a mission working to clean, repair and paint local houses. Monetary donations are needed. We will be packing our Jared Boxes after the 5:30 Sept. 10 service. A light dinner will be served to those helping. Please join us!  Please remember to gather your gently used clothing for our Oct. 8 clothing sale.  Donations can be dropped off at church any time. Please sort by gender and size.

Evangelism-We’ll wrap up a very busy summer with our “Touch a Truck” event 10-2 Sept. 10. Children of all ages are welcome to visit emergency vehicles, first responders and more. Volunteer help is needed to direct traffic, welcome visitors, help with parking, etc.

Of Interest to Women –Don’t forget to buy your Boscov’s 25% discount card from WELCA after services. WELCA is hosting a bake sale Sept. 24-25 during the basket party.  Calling all bakers to make something yummy for us to sell. Please share your talents with us.

Flea Market Crew—sure isn’t taking a vacation. They are busy planning a walk-thru basket party September 24-25. Themed baskets, monetary donations or gift cards for baskets can be dropped off at the office. Basket tickets are being sold after all weekend services NOW!

Youth/Family Ministry-Sunday School for youth in preschool, elementary and middle school starts Sept. 11. We are excited to see our friends once again. See Pastor Jonathan for more information.  Pastor Jonathan will be holding a pet blessing event in the pre-school yard on October 5.  Watch for details and have your special family members visit our church that day.

Church Council— We encourage our many active committees to invite, feed, welcome and include everyone who enters our doors. As we approach Fall, council’s thoughts look forward to next year.  If you’re not involved in activities here, consider doing so.  If you’re already active, consider throwing your hat in the ring to chair a committee, or sit on council. Let Pastor Scott know you’d like to be considered!
