Social Ministries—Please turn in your toy/sock donation before Dec. 18. Volunteers are needed to help at Family Kitchen Dec. 4 from 11-1.  Contact Mike Kozak to volunteer 814-244-6880,

Evangelism/All Parish-Thank you to all who baked and/or delivered cookies for our shut-ins and 1st responders before Thanksgiving. Please join us December 4 at 8:00 am when we host a coffee social before service.  We will be holding these get-togethers the first Sunday of every month.  Mt. Calvary will be hosting the Alpha course beginning Feb. 21. The 11 weekly sessions explore and deepen our Christian faith. Watch for more details early next year.

Altar Guild-We are reorganizing for 2023.  We can never have too many helpers for this important service, so if we haven’t approached you yet, please tell anyone you see cleaning up after services that you’d like to help.  Join us any time.  We’ll show you what to do!

Youth/Family Ministry-There is still time for preschool and elementary-aged children to be part of our Dec. 18 Christmas Pageant. Practice is 8:30 Sunday mornings. There are parts for all, regardless of ability or “shyness!” The Christmas Eve 4:00 service is geared for young families or anyone with short attention spans! A simple liturgy, familiar hymns and interactive parts to keep kiddos engaged!  Welcome all!

Church CouncilCouncil accepted Chris Koshute’s resignation as a member, with appreciation and thanks for her contributions to make our church a better, welcoming place for all.  Cindy Solarczyk was appointed to serve the remainder of Chris’s term.

Property Committee– A beautiful, new Nativity scene has been built for our outside circle to celebrate the Christmas season and Jesus’ birth. Watch for it after December 18.

By the Way…Donations of birthday, anniversary or blank note cards are always needed. Drop your extras off in the office during normal business hours.
