Summertime Services:  Summer Services are at 8:00 AM and 9:45 AM through August. Please mark your calendars.

Sunday School Teachers:  Thank you to all the Sunday school volunteer teachers for their time & talents this past year.  This summer is flying by & we will have our first meeting for the year on Tuesday, August 19^th at 7:00 PM in the Conference room.  If you are unable to attend, or if you are not able to teach this year, please call Deb Rychak at 269-4358.  Thanks to Lori Hiltz for many years of devoted teaching, good luck with your new endeavors!

Lutheran Men's League:  Annual Corn roast will be held on Tuesday, August 19, at 5 pm at Camp Sequanota.  For details talk to President Bill Good.

Retiree's Luncheon:  The Retiree's Luncheon will be Thursday, August 21, at noon at Hoss's Steak & Sea House on Theatre Drive in Johnstown.  Please call Betty (266-5152) for reservations.

Hilltopper Assembly Crew:  The Hilltopper will be assembled on Tuesday, August 26.

 9:30 AM Unity Service Sunday!  We will have Unity Service Sunday August 31, 2008.  There will be only one service that day at 9:30 AM.

Pot Luck Brunch: There will be a pot luck brunch after the Unity Sunday Service August 31, 2008. No need to sign up and everyone bring a favorite dish they'd like to share. 

ATTENTION COLLEGE STUDENTS (AND PARENTS OF COLLEGE STUDENTS):  We would like to update our information.  So, please either call the church office or e-mail Kim McMullen (mcmullenkr@aol.com) with your school address.  If you e-mail Kim, please make sure to have "Mount Calvary-College Address" in the subject line.   Commuting?  Please let us know.  We don't want any commuters to miss out.

Fall Rally Day:  The Fall Rally Day to kick off the Sunday school year will be held on September 7^th, immediately following the 8:00 AM Service.  Adults may go directly to their classroom (Old Lounge or Conference Room) or join their children in Sander Hall.  Classes are available for children who celebrated their birthday by January 1, 2008, through adults.  See you then!

Coffee Hour:  Coffee hour will be returning soon!  The new sign up sheet for this fall is available in the narthex.

Corrections to Church Directory:  Please take a moment and recheck if your information is up-to-date using the forms on the table in the Narthex.  We did not have addresses before.  Please make the changes directly on the forms or just mark ok by your name.  Sorry for any inconvenience.
